The Brazil Copa America squad, schedule and a player to watch for the 2011 finals.

23-man Brazil Copa America Squad:

Goalkeepers: Julio Cesar (Inter Milan), Victor (Gremio), Jefferson (Botafogo)

Defenders: Dani Alves (Barcelona), Maicon (Inter Milan), Andre Santos (Fenerbahce), Adriano (Barcelona), Lucio (Inter Milan), David Luiz (Chelsea), Thiago Silva (Milan), Luisao (Benfica)

Midfielders: Lucas (Liverpool), Ramires (Chelsea), Sandro (Tottenham), Elias (Atletico Madrid), Lucas (Sao Paulo), Jadson (Shakhtar), Elano (Santos), Paulo Henrique Ganso (Santos)

Forwards: Alexandre Pato (Milan), Neymar (Santos), Fred (Fluminense), Robinho (Milan)

Background:

Coach Mano Menezes, who replaced the overly defensive Dunga after the 2010 World Cup, says his priority is to give young players experience. Therefore the likes of Neymar, Lucas and Paulo Henrique Ganso should be given plenty of chances to impress after dazzling domestically.

Winner of the last two editions – beating Argentina in the final both times – the minimum expectation will be an appearance in the final.

Group Matches:

July 3, 2011 v Venezuela
July 9, 2011 v Paraguay
July 13, 2011 v Ecuador

Player to Watch: Neymar

This mercurial young talent has started to produce for Brazil on a regular basis over the last few months. Sublime in a 2-0 friendly victory over Scotland in March, Neymar is generating a frenzy amongst Selecao fans in the same way that Ronaldo and Robinho did when coming through.
