Florent Malouda (Chelsea & France)

The Frenchman has moved into more of a central role under Carlo Ancelotti at Stamford Bridge but still wreaks havoc down the flanks. Took time to hit his stride for Chelsea, but he grew in stature throughout 2009 and his goals are invaluable for the Blues. Excellent close control, superb dribbling skills and a knack of being in the right place at the right time to finish off moves.
