Ledley King
There can be no harder job in football in being the man single handedly tasked with providing strength, steel and stability to Tottenham Hotspur's nervous and leaky defence. In Ledley King however, Spurs have the perfect candidate who has shown a willingness and talent for making the defensively difficult look easy since making his debut in 1999 against Liverpool
Frustratingly injury ravaged, King's appearances for Spurs in recent seasons have been much less then coach Martin Jol or the Spurs fans would want and it will be the speed of his return from his latest injury problems that will dictate Tottenham's ability to keep enough goals out at their end so that their world class forward line can fire them on to glory at the opposite end of the pitch.
