With qualification already secured from Group F, Manchester United and Roma played out an insignificant score draw with the real drama happening outside Rome's Stadio Olimpico as five Manchester United supporters were rushed to hospital with stab wounds following an altercation with Roma's notorious Ultras.
Sporting Lisbon's 3-0 win over Dynamo Kiev sets them up for their upcoming UEFA Cup campaign and condemns the Ukrainians to a (literally!) pointless Champion's League campaign, making them only the seventh club to achieve no wins or draws at this stage of the competition.
