Kevin-Prince Boateng has always been a confident chap. One of soccer's prime show boaters in his earlier years, the Ghanaian international says he will dress as Michael Jackson and "dance the moonwalk" if his club AC Milan win their 18th Scudetto this season.
And the odds are that they will do just that. The Rossoneri lead second placed Inter by eight points with four rounds left and as coach Massimiliano Allegri says, they need just four more points to all but close it out.
Boateng told Italian daily La Gazzetta dello Sport: ''If we are to win the Scudetto, I will dance the moonwalk dressed as Michael Jackson, hopefully on the pitch."
The sight of Boateng prancing around on the San Siro turf will undoubtedly be greeted with more enthusiasm than the statue of Jackson that Fulham owner Mohamed Al Fayed had erected outside the club's Craven Cottage stadium earlier this month. The statue has been ridiculed by fans and art critics alike, but it certainly appears that The King of Pop is living on through soccer.
