Alan's World Soccer BlogHave Celtic Really Pegged Rangers Back In Scotland?A few week's ago it looked all over for defending Scottish champions Celtic but after two thrilling victories over Old Firm rivals Rangers in recent weeks it is the Bhoys from Parkhead who sit five points clear at the top of the Scottish Premier League.
Rangers can still point to the three games in hand they have over Celtic as proof that the destiny of the Scottish title is in their own hands but I'm sure Rangers boss Walter Smith will be worried about the psychological effects on his players after two defeats at Celtic's hands in quick succession. The Scottish title will now boil down to the difference between points on the board and the potential of games in hand and looks set to go right to the last day which is something of a tradition in recent times.
